Founded by Arti Solanki, a business coach, real estate broker, and purpose-driven entrepreneur, the idea for Global Desi Women started with a simple yet powerful truth: our stories matter. As Arti connected with more incredible women in her circle—each with their own unique journey navigating tradition, ambition, and identity—it became clear that this needed to become something bigger.

That’s when she teamed up with her co-hosts to bring this vision to life. Together, they created a space where Desi women could come together to have raw, real, and inspiring conversations.

The powerful name “Global Desi Women” was beautifully gifted to us by Karishma Shelley, whose creativity captured the essence of what we’re building: a global sisterhood of strong, diverse South Asian women reclaiming their stories and standing in their power.
