Arti Solanki - Host/Founder
Hi, I’m Arti Solanki — business coach, real estate broker, entrepreneur, and host of the Global Desi Women podcast. I help women entrepreneurs build impactful businesses with clarity, confidence, and community. My journey began in 2001 as co-founder of Om Enterprise Inc., and evolved as I raised my family, discovered real estate, and faced life’s challenges with grit and grace.
After earning my broker license and growing multiple ventures, I found my calling in coaching women — especially Desi women — to believe in themselves, set bold goals, and thrive. Through my podcast and coaching, I create space for honest conversations, cultural connection, and inspired action.
When I’m not coaching or recording, I’m enjoying my organic garden, reading, or spending time with my three rescue dogs. Life is full, and I’m here to help you make yours fulfilling too.
Bhavana Shelley - Co host
20+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics applications. She focuses on Pharmaceuticals, Engineering, Nonprofits, Telecommunications, and Professional services industries. Managed teams of functional and technical consultants. Certified in MBS Master SL, GP application with installation and configuration. She is certified in Acumatica and Unanet. Member of the advisory services helping client make decisions on their business process and change management. Loves to travel around the world and try food from all countries. A plant lover, a singer, a mom, and a cook.
Rhea Palicha - Co host
Rhea is a Social Media Strategist at IBM, where she’s been helping shape the brand’s social narrative since 2016. She also freelances for different brands to help bring their stories to life across platforms. When she’s not crafting content, you’ll probably find her behind a camera or sketchpad.
Vinoo Palicha - Co host
A smalls business owner of Indian clothing boutique. What started as a passion for fashion and styling has blossomed into a space where timeless Indian craftsmanship meets modern aesthetics! A one woman team curating, styling, packaging, shipping and handling customer care! One woman. One dream. Rooted in tradition. Embracing the world with a desi soul. I’m a Global Desi Woman!!
Bhawna Luthra - Co host
Bhawna Luthra is Licensed Marriage and Family therapist who has been in clinical practice for 17 years. She is dedicated to help individuals overcome depression and manage anxiety through building deeper inner connection and developing strategies to navigate stressors. With a compassionate and collaborative approach, she creates a safe environment for couples and families in distress to work through conflict and build closer connections while finding resolution. Her goal is to create nonjudgmental space where everyone feels heard and understood. Being a trauma informed yoga therapist, EMDR trained and licensed Ear accupunturist, She incorporates eastern healing modalities along with western approaches to support holistic transformation.
Natasha Gandhi - Co host
Natasha is a Senior iOS Engineer at H-E-B, where she focuses on elevating the digital shopping experience within the H-E-B iOS app. With six years of professional experience—three at H-E-B and three at a consulting firm—Natasha brings deep technical expertise and a passion for user-centric design. She’s been coding since she was 15, and her love for building meaningful digital products has only grown since. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and listening to music—finding inspiration in new places and cultures.
Kavita Jasani - Co Host
Although Kavita is a licensed civil engineer, she is always open to new experiences and has been working as a comptroller for a logistics company for over 10 years. When she’s not working, you can find her chatting with friends, traveling, or cooking a new recipe.
Karishma Shelley - Co host
Karishma works in the pharmaceutical industry as a Health Economics and Outcomes Researcher, where she studies the value and impact of cancer treatments to help inform healthcare decisions and improve patient access. She’s a pharmacist by training and holds a master’s degree in applied health economics. Outside of work, she loves discovering new restaurants in NYC, dancing to anything with a good beat, and constantly rearranging furniture just for fun. She finds joy in family time, planning cozy get-togethers, and curating thoughtful gifts for the people she loves.
Dr. Reena Jasani - Co host
Reena is a physician and Master of Public Health graduate currently completing anesthesiology residency in New York. When she’s not in the hospital, she loves playing card/board games, attending Broadway shows, and glamming up for girls’ night.
Usha Khatri - Co host
Usha is a determined small business entrepreneur and a proud trailblazer. As part of the first generation in her family to move from a small town in Fiji and start a new life abroad, she embarked on her journey with a vision for a better future for her family.
A formidable figure in her community, Usha is widely respected not only for her entrepreneurial spirit but also for her generosity and compassion. She is an active member of several charitable organisations, always looking for ways to give back and uplift others.
Outside of business and community work, Usha thrives in her role as a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoys staying active with gardening, Pilates, and winding down with a good movie — always finding joy in life’s simple pleasures.
Simki Palicha - Co host
Simki is a social media creative at an all-girls marketing agency overseeing content, copy, and strategy for CPG brands. Outside of work, she shares her creative side on TikTok and loves attending dance workshops!
Sanchi Palicha - Co host
Sanchi Palicha is a New York City based fashion and beauty enthusiast working in the corporate luxury fashion space as a Supply Chain Manager. When she’s not immersed in the world of luxury logistics, Sanchi loves to dance, travel, explore new food spots around the city, and create fashion content!
